Our response to COVID-19
We are working so you can stay home
As the situation with COVID-19 changes from day to day, we have taken steps to take care of our priority: the health and wellbeing of our family of workers and our customers and contribute to the safety of our community.
That is why we have taken steps to continue our operation within this essential industry with the minimum impact to our customers in need of automotive wheels.
We are working only with essential staff, rotating their scheduled vacation periods to prevent any financial impact to their families. We are practicing social distancing and the use of protective gear, proper hand washing and glove removal protocols.
Accounting, Marketing and Customer Service staff are encouraged to work remotely from their homes, and only the Customer Service Director works on site to coordinate matters with remote workers.
Our shipping department takes extra care by sanitizing their workstations hourly and have a designated sanitized area where packages will be uploaded to the UPS trailer for their daily pickup.
According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and the WHO (World Health Organization), the “risks of transmission of COVID-19 Coronavirus from receiving a package is very low”.
Because that doesn’t mean it’s impossible, we strongly recommend you follow the following prevention steps:
- Avoid direct contact with the delivery driver
- Leave the package outside for a few hours and/or spray it with aerosol disinfectant before handling
- Wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds or more
- Disinfect the surface of the rims before you handle it
- Avoid touching your face, including your mouth, eyes, and nose after handling the package or the wheels.
