The Reconditioning Process
First, we have hundreds of take-off OEM wheels (original equipment manufacturer or 'factory wheels' for short), from all brands, delivered to our wheel shops almost daily. We choose a selection of Chrysler 200 OEM wheels for refinishing.
Our techs submit the used take-off wheels to a series of stress tests to find their structural integrity, their true center and their tolerance, to ensure the rims will operate and balance to factory and safety specs. In fact, if the stock rims show a crack or any severe defect, they are immediately scrapped or recycled.
When our Quality Control (QC) techs, approve a Chrysler 200 wheel for reconditioning, they will proceed to remove the previous old wheel finish. We acid-wash them and prepare the wheel surface for refinishing.

We refinish the wheels applying the original factory OEM color. Our finishers input the color code generated by Chrysler into a computerized colorizer to obtain the right tint. Consequently, we colorize the wheel by applying powder or liquid last-generation coating. Finally, we cover the wheels surfaces with clear coating to maximize durability and protection of their finish.
